Helicopter - The most Expensive Bottle Opener (13 pics)

Helicopter - The most Expensive Bottle Opener -
What to do when you need to open the bottle, but no can opener, but there is a helicopter?
In the continuation of the post instruction.

This is a discussion on Can you please pass me that beer bottle opener? Oh, helicopter would do fine as well! USA vs Japan in the open a beer bottle with a helicopter contest...

Opening a beer with a bottle opener is usually a simple task. However, using a helicopter with an opener attached to it is just making that task more difficult than it needs to be.

Some may call it trick flying, while others the most expensive beer bottle opener in the world, but whatever you decide, using a helicopter to pop open a few beers is very impressive to say the least.

Amazing Portraits Made with Screws (13 pics)

Amazing Portraits Made with Screws by Andrew Myers
California based artist Andrew Myers creates portraits using screws, which also allows the artist to get a “feel” of 3D into the work. The artist starts off with a plywood panel and covers it with pages of a phonebook (pages from the subject’s local area!) and then move.

Custom Rat Rod

My lastest modeling project is the Custom Rat Rod that I just recently completed.   This is again loosely based off of the '29 Chevy.   Modified the main body from the "Delivery Panel Truck to "Chop & Channel the body.   Modeled a new set of Rims, Chassis Front Clip, Suspension, Grill, Lights, Radiator, & Exhaust Headers to complete the Rod.

Modeled a full 3D environment for the Final Renders on this one.  Plants were downloaded from various free model sites around the internet.

BoLink Eliminator Remote Control

This model was built for a Contest on one of the 3D Modeling sites that I frequent.  The contest actually fell through as there were not enough participants.  This is a 3D representation of my BoLink Eliminator Remote Control Asphalt car.  I modeled all of the individual chassis parts using my actual car as a reference.  The body is modeled based on the "Wedge" Late Model design.    Even though the contest was a bust, this was fun to model and worked as a further learning experience.

Custom 1929 Chevrolet Delivery

This model followed the '29 Pickup.  It is another full custom loosely based off of the Cab of a 1929 Chevrolet Pickup.  I utilized the Cab and stretched it into the resemblance of a Delivery Panel Van.
Modeled the "Environment" in full 3D.   Renders are done with 3ds Studio Max 2009 w/ Mental Ray Render Engine - Daylight System.

Custom 1929 Chevrolet Pickup

This is one of my earliest scratch built models.  It is a full custom loosely based off of the Cab of a 1929 Chevrolet Pickup.  All other parts of the truck are custom and are  not authentic replicas of any exiting car part.   Renders are done with 3ds Studio Max 8 w/ VRay Render Engine - Studio Setup.

Bugster - Interbreeding with Beetle & Boxster (13 pics)

Bugster - Interbreeding with Beetle & Boxster -
What happens if you cross a Porsche Boxster with a Porsche Boxster Volkswagen Beetle Recently the cute little Herbie bug car is not so sweet anymore, thanks to this creation by Austrian shop owner, Siegfried Rudolf, who owns CarMaxx. The shop specializes in restoring two popular German cars, Porsches and Volkswagens.

Rudolf got the idea to slap a Porsche Boxster engine into a 1973 VW Beetle when he noticed how the two cars had a very similar wheelbase. In order to mate the two different cars together, the VW Beetle shell was custom fitted to go on the Porsche Boxster’s chassis. The fenders on the VW Beetle had to be modified in order to fit the 18-inch rims and the adjustable suspension. As for the interior, the door panels are from the VW Beetle while the dashboard is from the Porsche Boxster.

As a result of interbreeding got the car Bugster, the new and improved Porsche Boxster Beetle puts down 270 horsepower and is pretty much considered a sleeper. With the Porsche chassis and new suspension, this is probably one of the best handling Beetle’s around.
